Himandhoo Kandu

Himendhoo “Dhekunu” Kandu channel is on the North side of channel, 20-minutes dhoni ride. The top of the reef is at 5 meters and drops down vertically to the pass bottom at 30 meters, here are some amazing coral formations covered with soft colourful corals. Caves and overhangs alternate giving movement to the wall, large cracks diagonally direct you down to bottom of the pass, full of white-yellow soft corals. Moray eels, red snappers, striped snappers and soldier fish are sighted on the reef; looking towards centre of the channel you can see white tip reef sharks and large tuna.
